Welcome to Flow ("the App"), operated by Reflet ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

You may sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly update any changes.

3. Description of Services

Flow is a fitness tracking application that provides:

AI-generated personalized workout plans
AI-generated exercise demonstration videos
Workout logging and scheduling
AI-powered meal photo scanning for nutritional estimates
Meal and nutrition tracking
Progress photo tracking

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Flow offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store via in-app purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: Workout plans, nutritional estimates, and exercise demonstration videos generated by AI are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical, fitness, or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise program or making dietary changes, especially if you have injuries or medical conditions.

Exercise demonstration videos are generated using AI video generation technology (Google Veo). They depict synthetic, AI-generated characters — not real people. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated demonstrations may not perfectly represent ideal exercise form.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content, including exercise videos. You use AI features at your own risk.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
Circumvent rate limits, subscription restrictions, or security measures
Upload harmful, offensive, or non-food images to the meal scanning feature
Share your account access with others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within the App are owned by Reflet or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reflet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to physical injury resulting from following AI-generated workout plans or nutritional advice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Privacy Policy

Reflet ("we", "us", "our") operates the Flow application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

a) Account Information

When you sign in via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive:

Your name (if provided)
Your email address
A unique user identifier

Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. We do not store your password.

b) Health & Fitness Data

You may voluntarily provide:

Age, gender, height, and weight
Fitness goals and experience level
Injury information
Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, weights)
Progress photos (stored locally on your device)

c) Nutrition Data

Meal entries you manually log (name, calories, macros)
Photos you submit for AI meal scanning

d) Subscription Data

We receive subscription status and tier information via RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment details — these are handled entirely by Apple and RevenueCat.

2. How We Use Your Information

AI-Powered Features: To generate personalized workout plans, we send your fitness profile (age, gender, weight, height, goal, experience level, injury info, focus area, intensity preference) to OpenAI via Firebase Cloud Functions. For meal scanning, the photo you take is sent to OpenAI for nutritional analysis. We do not send your name, email, or account identifiers to OpenAI.

We use your information to:

Provide the Service: Generate workouts, scan meals, track your fitness progress
Personalization: Tailor AI-generated content to your profile
Rate Limiting: Enforce fair usage limits on AI features
Account Management: Maintain your account and subscription status

3. Data Storage & Security

Local data: Workout logs, meal entries, and progress photos are stored locally on your device using SQLite (GRDB). Progress photos are saved as files in your app's sandboxed Documents directory.
Cloud data: Your account profile and usage counters are stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase).
Authentication: Managed by Firebase Authentication with industry-standard security.
AI processing: Data sent to OpenAI for workout generation and meal scanning is processed according to OpenAI's API data usage policies. API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions — Privacy Policy
OpenAI — AI workout generation and meal scanning — Privacy Policy
Google Veo — AI exercise demonstration video generation — Privacy Policy
RevenueCat — Subscription management — Privacy Policy

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as described above with our third-party service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the App.

6. Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data.
Cloud data (Firestore) is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
Data sent to OpenAI for processing is not retained by OpenAI beyond the API request lifecycle, per their API data usage policy.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict processing of your data
Data portability

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. The "Effective Date" at the top will be updated accordingly.

Account & Data

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app under Settings → Delete All Data. This permanently removes your account from our servers and all local data from your device.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. To cancel or modify your subscription, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support.
